Weigh-in Day

Friday is my weigh in day, and today I came in at 331.8. That is a 3.2 pound drop from last week. I am very happy with this week. My weight loss goal for each week is 2 pounds. I have updated my Progress Chart and published it.

This past week the challenge was to lose weight in a week when St. Patrick’s day fell. Due to my having to work on the actual day, I decided to hang out with friends on Sunday. My wife was making corned beef and cabbage on Monday, so I stuck with a grilled chicken pesto wrap for dinner. I still had the beers, but for every beer I drank I made sure to drink a pint of water. I spent a lot of time walking back and forth to the bathroom, but it did mean that I drank a lot less.

As I mentioned above, we had the corned beef and cabbage on Monday, with leftovers on Wednesday. The only concern with those meals was the salt in the beef, but I drank extra water on the following days and flushed my system.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I went to the gym twice this week, and I increased my at-work exercise.

All in all it was a good week. For the week ahead I will keep on doing what I am doing. I have some posts in mind on snack foods, and how I have been managing restaurants, so watch for those.
