I am on day 2 of my vacation. I thought I’d give an update on how I’m doing with my 4 part plan. I don’t have a scale, so this will be about how I’m eating and drinking.
1. Portion control. Here I am doing very well. I have limited myself to one portion per meal and making sure I load up on fruits and vegetables. So far so good.
2. Daily walk. The first day here it rained in the morning. The afternoon and evening were dry but I never got out for the 2 mile walk. No excuse. I should have done better. After I publish this post I’ll be on my way.
3. Hydration. This is another place I could have done better. I was off by about 32 ounces for the day yesterday. Today I started early and will hit the mark.
4. Limiting beer. Here I have been doing well. I have stayed within my daily points and haven’t tapped into the weekly reserve. I am on plan.
All in all I am doing well. I am confident that when this vacation ends I will be no worse than even on my weight!
