100 Mile walking challenge update – Day 1

Good morning everyone! How did you all do on the first day of the 100 Miles in 31 day challenge?

I got off to a good start. Here are my stats for August 1:

I didn’t go to the gym yesterday, so all of my walking was tracked with the RunKeeper app on my phone. I did two laps of my building (1.4miles), in the morning, then took a walk of just over 2 miles at lunch. My car was in the garage for a tire repair, so when it was ready I walked to the garage for the rest of the 4.5 miles.

As soon as I post this, Mrs. Bobby-C and I are heading out for a morning walk in our neighborhood.

Leave me a comment and tell me how you did. If you didn’t start, or if you were below the 3.22 miles needed, on average, then make sure you get out today. Remember, it doesn’t have to be all in one walk, and it doesn’t have to be outside. If 4 or 5 walks on the treadmill, or several neighborhood walks works best for you, then that’s what you’ll do.
