Good morning! The sky is blue, the birds are singing. I am heading out for a long weekend, so I moved my weigh-in up one day to Thursday this week. And, my scale greeted me with a sunny hello to start the weekend right. This morning I tipped it at 218.8 pounds!!!! That’s right, I am FINALLY OUT OF THE 220s! My total weight loss now is at 126.2 pounds or 36.6% of my original body weight.
I feel great today.This past week I was diligent on tracking and really making sure I ate right.
The week ahead will be a challenge. This is a large, multi-family trip. Everyone shows their outdoor cooking prowess on this vacation, so there will be plenty of opportunity to over eat. I will have to be mindful of what I am eating. The good news is that I plan to take a hike or two on some trails in the area. That should be fun, and a way to burn off a bit of extra food.
