I haven’t posted progress pictures to my blog in a while, so I thought I would post one today. As you know, last week I went with my son and a friend to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Eldora Raceway in Ohio. It was the 3rd time they have raced the trucks on that dirt track, and we have gone to each race. One of the things we do there is get a picture of the 3 of us near the fence. Here is a cropped look at me through the years:
In 2013 I hadn’t even considered taking this journey. I weighed between 345 and 350 pounds then. In 2014 I was 20 weeks in, and weighed 282 pounds. This year I weighed 216.2 pounds.
When I look at these pictures, I hardly recognize that guy in 2015. Yes, you read that right, it is my CURRENT picture I hardly recognize. For so long I identified myself as being heavy, that it is odd for me to see myself in pictures as a thinner person. It takes some getting used to.
Here is my tracker so far this week. As you can see I have come under on my points each day. Friday in particular I was under because I spent the day concentrating on eating vegetables and salads. I haven’t had a workout since Friday, so I need to get to the gym a time or two in the next few days.
That’s it, just a quick update for you all. Hope your week is going well.
Amazing! 🙂
