Yesterday I stayed within my points, thanks to my wife’s planning of a meatless dinner. That left me a few points for snacks while watching the World Series with my daughter. Tonight is game 7, so similar planning will be needed.
For this week my focus is on tracking my food, and resetting my mind about the process. I did walk a mile at work, but the hard working out will start once I recover ffrom the WS.
I received a lot of supportive, non-coddling feedback yesterday . Thanks to all of you. Additionally, I heard from a few people who also want to get back on the weight loss bandwagon . Come on board! There is plenty of room.
My closing thought today is this. I went from 216 to 242 this summer because I lied to myself. I chose to believe my own BS that I could handle a bit more food and drink, and that all would be fine without working hard. That BS got me in trouble, and it stops now. What BS are you letting yourself believe that is keeping you from your goals?
